JEE Main 2027 photo and signature resizer
JEE (Main) 2027 asks for a recent colour passport size photo, with your face filling 80% of it on a white background, and your signature, both as JPG/JPEG. NTA sets the KB range for each but no pixel size, so the resizer uses a clear, light size well inside it. Free, no sign-up, and your files stay on your device.
JEE Main also captures a live photo with your webcam or phone camera (or by scanning a QR code) while you fill in the form, in addition to the photo you upload. Use a white background and good light.

Tips so your form isn't rejected
Photo
A recent, real photo: face straight to the camera, light or white background, no cap or dark glasses, no shadows. Don't use filters or AI-edited photos.
Signature
Sign in black ink on plain white paper, in your usual handwriting (IBPS rejects capital letters). Photograph it flat in daylight, then crop close before resizing.
Live photo (SSC, IBPS, UPSC)
Sit facing a window or a light, in front of a plain wall. Remove your cap and spectacles, look straight at the camera, and never hold up a printed photo.
Questions
- What is the JEE Main 2027 photo size?
- A recent colour passport size photo as a JPG/JPEG of 10–200 KB, with your face filling 80% of it, ears visible and no mask, on a white background. NTA gives no pixel size, so the resizer makes it 350 × 450 pixels.
- What is the JEE Main signature size?
- A clearly legible JPG/JPEG of 10–100 KB. Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, photograph it flat in good light, and crop close to the signature before resizing.
- Does JEE Main also take a live photo?
- Yes. While you fill in the form, it captures a live photo with your webcam or phone camera, or by scanning a QR code with your phone. Sit in front of a white background in good light, with 80% of your face visible.
- What else do I upload for JEE Main?
- Your Class 10 certificate or marksheet, and any certificate that applies to you, such as a disability (UDID) certificate, each as a PDF of 50–300 KB. This resizer makes the photo and signature images; it doesn't compress PDFs.
- Is this resizer free?
- Yes. It's free, needs no account, and runs in your browser: your photo and signature are never uploaded to us.
- My photo is under the minimum KB. What does the resizer do?
- It first uses the highest JPEG quality. If a small, clean image is still under the minimum, it adds empty padding inside the file to reach the minimum size. The picture itself doesn't change.
- Which KB does the resizer count, 1000 or 1024 bytes?
- Both. Files are kept at or under the maximum counted in 1000-byte KB, and at or above the minimum counted in 1024-byte KB, so they pass either kind of check.
- Can I use an AI-edited photo for an exam form?
- No. Exam bodies compare your photo with you on the exam day and, in many exams, with a live photo taken in the form. Use a real, recent, unedited photo of yourself.
